About the estate
The Michael Trossen winery in Kröv on the Moselle looks back on a family tradition in viticulture dating back to 1910 and is currently managed in the third generation. Across a cultivated vineyard area of approximately four hectares, the estate produces Moselle-typical Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir. The vines grow in steep sites such as Kröver Paradies, Kröver Kirchlay, Kröver Steffensberg, and Kröver Letterlay on soils characterized by slate. The red wines mature for at least one year in small barrique barrels, while all wines are vinified on the estate. The modern cellar and a large wine tasting room are housed in the new building on Jesuitenhofstraße.
