About the estate

The Meyer estate is a family-run winery founded in 1949 in Heuchelheim in the southern Palatinate, which is currently managed in the third generation. Operating as a certified organic Bioland producer, the estate cultivates 17 hectares of vineyards featuring diverse soils such as limestone marl, red sandstone, Keuper, and shell limestone. The portfolio includes varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir, which are classified according to a quality philosophy into estate wines, local wines, and single-vineyard wines. The production methods combine traditional craftsmanship and ecological principles with modern cellar techniques, including temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation and maturation in wooden casks or barriques.

The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Gelber Muskateller and Pinot Noir.
