About the estate

The Marc Josten winery cultivates nine hectares of vineyards across the two wine-growing regions of Ahr and the Middle Rhine. In the Ahr valley, the estate farms steep sites such as the Mayschosser Mönchberg, focusing on the classic red grape varieties Pinot Noir and Early Burgundy for red and rosé wines. At the Middle Rhine in the Leutesdorfer Gartenlay, white wines from Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Gris are produced. The portfolio consists exclusively of dry wines categorized into estate wines, local wines, and single-vineyard wines. The winemakers are dedicated to consistently elaborating the typical characteristics of the respective origins, soils, and climatic conditions.
