About the estate
The Manfred Ames estate in Kinheim on the Moselle is run as a multi-generational family business with a history spanning over 150 years. Cultivating five hectares of vineyards, the winery focuses on Riesling, which accounts for over seventy percent of the total area. The grapes originating from top Moselle sites are gently pressed and vinified in stainless steel tanks in the estate's own cellar. Current owner and cellar master Frank Ames manages the winery together with his wife Sonja and the family. The wines are traditionally bottled and distributed directly to customers.
