About the estate

The Ludwigshof winery is located on the South Styrian Wine Road near Gamlitz and has been run as a family business in the fifth generation since 1890. Across a vineyard area of six hectares at an altitude of 420 metres, the estate cultivates 25600 vines with eleven different grape varieties. The company goal is the production of as natural wines as possible with a fruity and aromatic note typical of Styria. Under controlled, environmentally friendly production and with a conscious reduction in yield, single-variety estate wines are pressed. Today, winegrower and cellar master Klaus Zierer manages the estate.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Gelber Muskateller and Welschriesling. The estate sells to retail.
