About the estate
The Sternat estate is situated amidst the vineyards of South Styria in Leutschach an der Weinstraße and is run as a family business currently in its fourth generation. Management as well as the responsibility for the vineyards and the wine cellar lie with Roland and Hans Sternat, with the entire family working closely together. The estate's portfolio includes wines from the Steirischer Landwein and Südsteiermark DAC denominations. In addition to winemaking, the offering also features a traditional wine tavern and holiday homes.
The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Gelber Muskateller. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Germany.
