About the estate
The Weingut Ludwig estate is located in Thörnich on the Moselle and looks back on a long family tradition dating back to 1628. Covering eleven hectares of vineyards, the winery cultivates sites such as Thörnicher Ritsch, whose slate soils and south-facing slopes form the basis for distinctive wines. Alongside entry-level and village wines, the portfolio includes deep single-vineyard Rieslings, hand-crafted selections, sparkling wines produced by traditional bottle fermentation, and distillates. In both the vineyard and the cellar, the estate works in harmony with nature to craft authentic wines with a clear structure and pronounced minerality.
The eno directory lists 24 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Blanc.
