About the estate

The Klaus Lentsch estate is a young family-run winery located in Eppan an der Weinstraße, founded in 2008 by Klaus Lentsch. The winemaker descends from a long-established South Tyrolean winegrowing family and cultivates historical sites such as Bachgart, Fuchslahn, and Eichberg. The portfolio includes cru wines from the Eisacktal, white wines from the Überetsch, and red wines from the porphyry slopes of the Unterland. In 2013, the estate inaugurated a new headquarters situated directly amidst the vineyards of St. Pauls. Grapes are processed gently in a modern cellar utilizing both steel tanks and wooden barrels for aging.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Pinot Blanc and Gewürztraminer.
