About the estate

The Karl Veit winery on the Moselle looks back on a history of over 75 years and is now managed in the second generation by Herbert Veit. The estate cultivates six hectares of vineyards in steep and sloping sites such as Monzeler Kätzchen, Brauneberger Juffer, Minheimer Burglay, and Kestener Herrenberg. On the soils, which are predominantly characterized by slate, Riesling is mainly grown, complemented by grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Red Riesling. In addition to estate wine and traditionally bottle-fermented sparkling wine, sustainable cultivation projects with fungus-resistant varieties are also part of the estate's profile.
