About the estate

The Weingut Jürg Wetzel estate looks back on a long family tradition in winemaking, with the foundation laid in 1987. Today, the winery cultivates nearly three hectares of vineyards in Gebenstorf, Villigen, and Birmenstorf. The vineyards feature various soil conditions such as Jurassic limestone, loess deposits, and clay soils, which allow for the cultivation of different grape varieties. In 2025, the next generation took over the estate, with the entire family continuing to contribute to operations. In winemaking, the team relies on traditional craftsmanship, long-standing experience, and natural processes.
