About the estate

The Hoos estate manages 15 hectares of vineyards according to organic guidelines in Sulzheim in the heart of Rheinhessen. The grape variety spectrum includes classic regional varieties such as Silvaner and Riesling, Pinots, bouquet varieties, and fungus-resistant varieties. In the modern operating building constructed in 2016, the grapes are processed as gently as possible in the wine cellar. The white wines mature through long and cool fermentation and extended lees contact, while the red wines age for at least twelve months in oak barrels following a long mash fermentation.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Dornfelder and Silvaner.
