About the estate

The Höfflin estate is situated on the southeastern slope of the Kaiserstuhl in Bötzingen and is run in the third generation. The winery follows a consistently organic approach with a strong focus on living soils and biodiversity through annual tree planting. In the cellar, the estate relies on traditional and gentle methods such as skin contact, spontaneous fermentation, extended lees aging, and minimal sulfur additions. Following international experience, Julius Höfflin contributes fresh impulses and his own lines to the family business. The wines are characterized by their origin, character, and moderate alcohol levels.
