About the estate

The Weingut Heinz Lemb estate is located in the old center of Mainz-Hechtsheim in Rheinhessen, featuring a historical wine cellar built in 1737. For many generations, the family has been dedicated to viticulture and now cultivates nearly 15 hectares of vineyards in the areas of Udenheim Hechtsheim, Laubenheim, and Bodenheim. The portfolio includes grape varieties such as Riesling, Silvaner, and Pinot Noir, which thrive on calcareous loess soils. A special focus is placed on the single vineyard site Hechtsheimer Kirchenstück with its south to southwest exposure. In its operations, the winery combines environmentally friendly cultivation methods with modern cellar techniques.
