About the estate
The traditional Weingut Hans Wirsching in Iphofen looks back on a centuries-old history and is currently managed by Andrea Wirsching within the family. Covering 90 hectares of vineyards in and around Iphofen, the estate has been dedicated to winemaking in the region of Franconia for more than 14 generations. The main grape varieties include Silvaner, Riesling, Scheurebe, as well as white Burgundy varieties and Pinot Noir. The wines grow on characteristic keuper soils in top sites such as the Iphöfer Kronsberg and Kammer. The estate operates sustainably and is certified according to the FAIR'N GREEN standard.
