About the estate

The Weingut H. Gindorf estate is a family-run winery located in Lieser on the Moselle river, with roots dating back to 1756. The current owners, an American family of German descent, took over the historic estate as career changers with the vision of combining traditional viticulture with modern technology. In the vineyards, they work traditionally with classic Moselle grape varieties to produce wines in a modern and open style. Their work focuses on tending the historic vineyards while preserving generations of winegrowing heritage. In addition to winemaking, the family also operates a guestouse in the region.
