About the estate
The Weingut Göbel-Schleyer-Erben estate in Ernst on the Moselle dates back to 1962, when the two wine estates belonging to Ignaz and Hedwig Göbel were united. Today, the four children run the family business, which has expanded through acquisitions and leases to cover 14.5 hectares of vineyards in the region's best sites. A particular focus is placed on steep-slope viticulture as well as the training of young winemakers. In addition to winegrowing, the business has grown over the years to include a new farm building, a distillery for spirits, and various partner establishments.
