About the estate

The Georg Mosbacher estate in Forst an der Weinstraße looks back on a long family tradition as winemakers and was founded in 1921 by Richard Mosbacher Snr. Today, the winery cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards in the Palatinate and is a member of the Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates. The vineyards are cultivated according to guidelines for environmentally friendly winegrowing entirely without the use of herbicides. Key practices include yield reduction in spring, intensive canopy management, and selective manual harvesting of the grapes. In the cellar, the wines are carefully developed to preserve their region-typical, fruit-driven, and lively character.
