The Weingut Galena Sommerach is a traditional family estate located in Sommerach in the Franconia region, producing quality wine for more than four decades. Michael Galena completed his winemaker training in 1980 and took over the winery together with Christine Galena in 1993. In 2010, their daughter Franziska joined the business and continues the family's work in the vineyards. The portfolio includes regional wines as well as fine spirits distilled in the estate's own distillery. Additional offerings comprise a seasonal tavern and visitor services such as wine tastings and vineyard tours.
