About the estate

The Fred Emrich estate in Biebelsheim looks back on a long-standing history, documented as early as 1692. Today, the family-run winery in the region of Rhenish Hesse is managed by Fred, Christiane, and Christian Emrich. Cultivating a vineyard area of 12.5 hectares, the estate produces popular varieties such as Riesling, Dornfelder, and Pinot varieties, alongside rare grape varieties like Rosenmuskateller and Huxelrebe. The winery focuses on sustainable viticulture and meticulous cellar work, producing wines that range from estate and village wines to single-vineyard bottlings.
