About the estate

The Faschian winery is a family-run estate based in Hessigheim, established in 1988, which cultivates steep terraced vineyards at Käsberg and Wurmberg. The vineyards are defined by fertile shell limestone soils and centuries-old dry stone walls that store heat, providing ideal conditions for viticulture along the Neckar valley. The estate is committed to sustainable management and a responsible approach to nature, which includes intensive canopy management and selective grape harvesting. In the cellar, the grapes are processed gently with long skin contact, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and the top wines are aged in barrique barrels. The portfolio ranges from steep-slope wines and estate wines to sparkling wines produced via traditional bottle fermentation.

The eno directory lists 20 wines, mostly from Blaufränkisch and Schiava.
