About the estate
The Weingut Engel estate cultivates vineyards in the traditional sites of Frauenberg, Bürgel, and Hubacker around Flörsheim-Dalsheim in the southern Wonnegau region. Through close-to-nature vineyard management and a high proportion of manual labor, the quality of the grapes is systematically enhanced. In the cellar, the winery focuses on minimal intervention, aging the wines in stainless steel tanks, large wooden barrels, or barriques depending on the style. This approach gives the varietal wines the space and time they need to mature naturally. Visitors can experience and taste the wines directly on-site in the vinoteca or during an exclusive wine tasting in the vaulted cellar.
