About the estate
The Emil Franz winery, founded over a hundred years ago, is located in Traben-Trarbach and is part of the world-famous cellar vaults of the Traben-Trarbach underworld. Since 2022, the estate has been managed by Chandrima and Kai Christiansen, who combine traditional winemaking methods with modern techniques. The characterful Moselle wines are shaped by the contrasting personal backgrounds of the owners. Kai Christiansen is also a trained sommelier and brings many years of experience from the food industry.
