About the estate

The Daniel Sigmund winery in Brixen manages four hectares of vineyards in South Tyrol, spread across the three sites of Lahner, Leitach, and Holzer. Acquired in 1935, the estate is currently run in the fourth generation by Daniel Sigmund. The vineyards are situated at altitudes between 620 and 820 meters on soils composed of weathered quartz phyllite and granite. The cultivated grape varieties include Silvaner, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Portugieser, with some vines reaching up to 110 years of age. Farming practices are transitioning towards organic certification.
