About the estate

The Castel Sallegg estate is located in the wine-growing village of Kaltern an la Weinstraße in South Tyrol and looks back on a history dating back to 1851. The Kuenburg family manages thirty hectares of vineyards spread across three historic estates around Lake Caldaro and on hilly slopes. The pedoclimatic conditions shape the character of the wines, which age within the historic walls of the cellar. In addition to winemaking, the property includes a historic manor, a boutique hotel, and venues for events.
