About the estate

The Weingut Blesius-Jostock estate in Thörnich on the Mosel is run in two generations by winemaker Alois and Simone Blesius alongside their daughter Vera. The winery operates in a controlled and environmentally friendly manner, overseeing the entire process from planting the vines to shipping the bottles. The vineyards are situated in steep sites and hillside locations such as Thörnicher Ritsch, Thörnicher Enggaß, Klüsserather Bruderschaft, and Thörnicher Schießlay. The portfolio focuses primarily on Riesling, complemented by varieties from the Pinot family and PIWI grape varieties. Cultivation in the steep vineyards is carried out entirely by hand.
