About the estate

The Blenz estate cultivates six hectares of vineyards in prime locations across Pommern, Karden, Klotten, and Cochem along the Moselle river. Riesling dominates the weathered slate and greywacke soils, complemented by Müller-Thurgau and Elbling. As a quality-oriented family business, the winery relies on a high proportion of old vines, close-to-nature cultivation, and the avoidance of high yields. In addition to traditional wines, the estate also produces high-quality Riesling sparkling wines using the traditional method of bottle fermentation.
