The Weingut am Berg - Gruber estate is located in Mittelberg in the Kamptal region, where the Gruber family name has been documented since 1491. Cultivating 13 hectares of vineyards, the winery manages sites such as Loiserberg, Kellerberg, Steinhaus, and Käferberg. The cool climate of Kamptal, alongside soils composed of primary rock, loess, loam, and gneiss, shapes the character of the wines. Father Ludwig converted the enterprise to dedicated viticulture, and today the younger generation continues the family tradition. The approach combines old vines and regional authenticity with the distinct climatic conditions of the area.
