About the estate
The Weingut Albert Kallfelz estate looks back on a family tradition documented as far back as 1450 and was officially founded in 1907. Today, the winery on the Moselle is managed in the fourth generation and encompasses around 60 hectares of vineyards. The work focuses on steep slate slopes, including the heart of the vineyards, the Merler Königslay-Terrassen. The portfolio concentrates on characterful, mineral Rieslings from these unique steep sites. With this consistent commitment to steep-slope viticulture, the estate relies on craftsmanship and the preservation of the Moselle cultural landscape.
