About the estate
The Weinbauernhof Fam. Diem estate cultivates around 13 hectares of vineyards in the Retzer Land region of the northwestern Weinviertel. Healthy grapes are produced through organic, near-nature farming methods, avoiding artificial fertilizers and relying on targeted manual labor in the vineyard. The primary focus is on Grüner Veltliner, which is complemented by varieties such as Welschriesling, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Yellow Muskateller, as well as red wines including Zweigelt, Blauer Portugieser, and Blaufränkisch. Diverse soil types, including loess, weathered granite, and loam, shape the character of the wines. Vinification takes place through gentle processing in the press house and cellar.
