About the estate
The Weinbau Grob estate is managed by Philipp Grob, who produces natural wine on 0.7 hectares of vineyards in Eastern Switzerland. Farming is conducted sustainably and without herbicides, additives, or animal products, with all vineyard work in the steep locations done entirely by hand. The property includes plots in three different wine-growing regions featuring old vines, primarily dedicated to the Pinot Noir grape variety alongside a smaller amount of Müller-Thurgau. Spontaneous fermentation and aging take place in a rock-hewn cellar situated along the Steinach river. The resulting wines are bottled unfiltered and without fining.
