About the estate
The Wanger winery, located in southern Burgenland on the southern slope of the Geschriebenstein in Rechnitz, is managed in the fourth generation and looks back on a history dating back to 1910. Operating on one hectare of vineyard area, the estate cultivates its vineyards in the Wohlauf and Fuchsschweif single-vineyard sites using close-to-nature methods on a part-time basis. The focus of production is on the main grape variety Welschriesling, which is characterized by fragrant and fruity properties. The portfolio is complemented by grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Grüner Veltliner, Blaufränkisch, and Zweigelt.
The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch.
