About the estate
The family-run Vins Jean-Louis Mauler estate cultivates nine hectares of vineyards across five communes in Alsace, including sites such as Schoenenbourg, Mandelberg, and Sonnenglanz. The winery has practiced organic agriculture since 2003, also applying biodynamic methods and harvesting exclusively by hand. In the cellar, vinification follows traditional practices with minimal inputs, with the majority of the wines aging on fine lees in centenarian oak casks. The portfolio features various Alsatian grape varieties alongside natural and orange wines.
The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Gewürztraminer and Pinot Gris. The estate sells to retail.
