About the estate
The Vinařství Želivka estate was established in April 2014 in Hněvkovice and cultivates a south-facing vineyard with 627 vines in the Vysočina region. The vineyard area features fungus- and frost-resistant grape varieties such as Zarya and a cross of Seibel and Riesling, yielding an annual harvest of 700 liters. The winery operates entirely without chemical products, relying on manual harvesting and self-made sprays derived from local herbs. Following gentle pressing in Kutná Hora, the white wines undergo spontaneous fermentation and aging in oak barrels at the historic St. Ursula Monastery.
