About the estate
The young family-run Vinařství Kocián estate was founded in 2014 in Kutná Hora and manages over two hectares of vineyards in the area as well as in the Vysočina region. The focus lies on cultivating Burgundian varieties, supplemented by numerous other white and red grape varieties such as Tramín Červený, Veltlínské Zelené, and Dornfelder. An organic approach is applied in vineyard management to keep environmental impacts as low as possible. The winery specializes in producing natural wines from estate-grown grapes, with the main emphasis placed on bottled wine.
The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Rulandské Bílé and Rulandské Šedé.
