About the estate
The Vinařské družstvo sv. Václav, družstvo was founded in 1996 with the main idea of restoring historical vineyards in and around Prague and producing quality wine. The members built the Máchalka vineyard in the Vysočanu district of Prague below Prosek through their own efforts and cultivate a total of nine grape varieties there. The portfolio includes white varieties such as Müller Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, and Moravian Muscat, as well as red varieties like Blue Portugieser, Saint Laurent, Pinot Noir, and Domina. This cooperative project connects the wine-growing tradition of the Čechy region with the enhancement of the local urban environment.
