About the estate
The ČSZ ZO Vinice Modřany winery cultivates a vineyard area of two hectares in Prague-Modřany within the Bohemia wine region. The history of local winemaking dates back to 1178, when the vineyards were donated to the Vyšehrad Chapter. After viticulture had ceased in 1929, a group of enthusiasts began restoring the historic vineyards in 1987. The estate produces wines in harmony with nature and regularly participates in regional events such as the Prague Vineyards festival.
