About the estate

The Vina Jogan winery in Pobegi looks back on a long-standing tradition as a proud wine grower and producer in the Primorska region. On five hectares of Istrian land, the family estate, whose knowledge is passed down from generation to generation, cultivates indigenous and international grape varieties such as Refošk, Malvazija, Shiraz, and Merlot. The Mediterranean climate and the proximity to the Adriatic Sea shape the distinct character of these wines. For maturation, the estate traditionally relies on old barrels and historical methods to impart depth to the wines. The products are distributed directly from the cellar as well as through loyal trade partners.
