The Villa Rosa estate is located in Castellina in Chianti, Tuscany, and is among the area's most historic properties. The Cecchi family acquired the estate from the Lucherini Bandini family. The vineyards cover 30 hectares within a total estate area of 126 hectares, situated at altitudes ranging from 255 to 425 meters. The soils are calcareous with a clay matrix, characterized by alberese rock and schistose galestro. Production focuses on the Sangiovese variety, yielding wines such as the Gran Selezione under the Chianti Classico DOCG denomination.
