Vignobles Buffeteau

About the estate

The Vignobles Buffeteau estate in Gornac in the Bordeaux region manages a vineyard area of 29 hectares. The trained oenologist Jean-Luc took over the family winery in 1998 with the objective to improve quality and develop the commercialisation in bottles. Later, his daughter Claire joined the business to handle administrative tasks and commercial monitoring. The estate includes the names Château La Grande Métairie and Château Haut Dambert, producing wines under various appellations such as AOC Bordeaux and AOC Entre-Deux-Mers. In 2015, a new stainless steel winemaking cellar with full temperature control was also constructed.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Malbec. The estate sells to importers.
