About the estate
The Vignoble Alain Robert estate was founded in 1973 in Chançay by Christelle and Alain Robert and is now managed by the next generation, their children Cyril and Catherine. The family-run property spans 38 hectares of vineyards, which have long been cultivated using sustainable farming methods and hold environmental certification since 2021. Chenin Blanc is the core grape variety, yielding distinct still wines from clay-limestone and flint soils as well as traditional method sparkling wines crafted inside a cellar carved into the local tuffeau rock. Vineyard management emphasizes precision, with older parcels harvested by hand and select cuvées aged in oak barrels. The resulting portfolio reflects the unique character of the local terroir, offering expressive wines true to the Loire Valley.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Chenin Blanc.
