About the estate

The Verdimonti estate is situated in the hills and vineyards surrounding Gaiole in Chianti in the heart of Tuscany. The history of the winery began in 1972 when a Milanese entrepreneur acquired the land, and commercial wine production started in 1985. Today, the property encompasses 25 hectares of vineyards planted with traditional Chianti grape varieties as well as international varieties. The vines are trained using simple and double Guyot systems. The product range includes Chianti Classico DOCG, Toscana IGT, and Vin Santo DOC.
