About the estate
The Tuzzi Wines estate cultivates two and a half hectares of vineyards in Manzano within the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia region under the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC denomination. The vineyards consist of a single plot treated as a cru featuring sixty to eighty-year-old vines. The estate exclusively grows autochthonous grape varieties including Friulano, Verduzzo, Ribolla, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Farming is conducted organically and certified by the ICEA Institute, with all agricultural tasks from pruning to harvesting performed manually. Vinification and ageing take place primarily in steel tanks with a partial maturation in wood.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Merlot and Ribolla Gialla.
