Petrussa

About the estate

The Petrussa estate has been run by the Petrussa family in Prepotto in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region since the early 20th century. Today, brothers Gianni and Paolo Petrussa manage the winery in the third generation. The vineyards are located within the Friuli Colli Orientali denomination in a valley characterized by a unique microclimate and high soil heterogeneity. Cultivation follows an integrated model with low environmental impact, natural grassing, and high planting density to limit yields per vine. The grapes from individual parcels are vinified separately to best express the character of the terroir.
