Tiare

About the estate

The Tiare estate is located in Dolegna del Collio in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region and produces wines under the Collio DOC and Venezia Giulia IGT designations. The vineyards feature diverse soil types, including sloping flysch soils and deeper soils in the lower hill areas. The portfolio comprises both indigenous and international grape varieties such as Sauvignon, Malvasia, Pinot Grigio, Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, as well as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Nero. Management practices focus heavily on soil care and the activity of soil microorganisms. To promote biodiversity and biological balance, cover crops are sown in the autumn and incorporated into the soil in the spring following flowering.

The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Ribolla Gialla and Malvasia. The estate sells to retail.
