About the estate
The Terramante winery is a small family-run estate founded in 2006 located in Todi in the heart of Umbria. The vineyards feature calcareous soils consisting of sand, clay, and abundant limestone and sandstone rocks. The cultivated grape varieties include Sangiovese, Sagrantino, Foglia Tonda, and Syrah. The estate has always farmed using organic and natural methods with strict respect for the environment. Chemical herbicides and pesticides are avoided, while vineyard animals, green harvesting, and cover cropping are employed to support natural vine health and soil fertility.
