About the estate
The Tenuta Mattei estate looks back on a history dating back to the early twentieth century, when Danilo's grandfather began cultivating vineyards in the province of Ancona. In the late fifties, the son Mario and his wife Maria took over the business, increased the vineyard area and began commercializing the wine throughout Italy. Today, Danilo continues the family tradition as an heir. The portfolio includes wines from the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Riserva DOCG denominations.
