About the estate

The Azienda Vinicola Colonnara winery is located in Cupramontana, the historical capital of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi in the Marche region. Established in 1959, the estate is driven by the passion and expertise of over one hundred winegrowers. The Verdicchio vineyards are cultivated along the right bank of the Esino river at an average altitude of 450 meters. The slow ripening of the grapes gives the wines acidic, mineral, and elegant notes that make them particularly suitable for sparkling wine production and long aging. The portfolio includes wines and sparkling wines from the Falerio DOC, Lacrima di Morro d'Alba DOC, Marche IGT, Rosso Conero DOC, Rosso Piceno DOC, and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC denominations.
