About the estate

The Tenuta La Pergola estate is located in the heart of the Terre Alfieri in Cisterna d’Asti, where the hills of Roero, Monferrato, and Langhe meet. Founded in 1903 by Nonno Tony, the winery has been cultivated across four generations by the Bodda family. Alessandra has led the estate since 2001 with sensitivity and courage, and in recent years her children have joined with fresh ideas while staying true to family roots. The estate works in harmony with nature by avoiding systemic chemicals, utilizing indigenous yeasts, and relying entirely on solar energy produced on-site. Every bottle reflects the unique terroir and winemaking heritage of this renowned region in Piedmont.
