About the estate

Tenuta del Travale was established in 1993 when its owners took over and radically transformed abandoned land in Rovito, Calabria. The estate manages two hectares of vineyards situated on terraced slopes at an altitude of 520 meters, surrounded by an ancient olive grove. The vineyards are planted with Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grape varieties, which are cultivated entirely by hand. Located on the edge of the Sila mountains, the property benefits from a unique microclimate with significant temperature ranges. The wines produced by the estate fall under the Calabria IGT denomination.
