About the estate
The family-owned Poderi Marini estate is based in San Demetrio Corone in Calabria and looks back on three hundred years of agricultural history. In 2003, the enterprise expanded its activities into viticulture and has since cultivated seven hectares of vineyards situated in hilly terrain. Winemaking follows organic farming methods in both the vineyard and the modern cellar. The grape variety assortment includes the indigenous Aglianico and Magliocco alongside international varieties such as Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon. Harvesting is done strictly by hand in crates, and the annual production exceeds 70,000 bottles.
The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Magliocco and Malvasia.
